Course Information
- The Augusta Half Marathon Course is USATF Certified at 13.1 miles.
- The Augusta Half Marathon has a three hour time limit, and the course will reopen to traffic at 11:00 am. Anyone who has not completed the race within the three-hour time limit will be responsible for their own safety and asked to move to the sidewalk.
A shuttle will be stationed at Berckmans Road and Ingleside Drive (approximately mile 7). Any runner who has not reached this point by 9:45 am (13:45 pace) will be required to stop the race and will be shuttled back to Enterprise Mill. Runners who wish to continue on the course will be required to relinquish their race number, move to the sidewalk and continue at their own risk.
- Aid stations are located approximately every two miles along the Augusta Half Marathon course. Water and Gatorade will be available to participants.
- Portable toilets will be located at the start/finish line and at each aid station on the course.
- Medical support will be provided by Georgia Health Sciences University Sports Medicine. The medical tent will be located in the start/finish area. Capital City Ambulance will also provide support throughout the course.
- For your safety and that of others, we do not allow the following items on the course: any wheeled conveyance including baby strollers, inline skates, skateboards, bicycles, skateboards or scooters.
- The use of headphones and personal music devices is strongly discouraged at the Augusta Half Marathon. If wearing a personal music device results in you being unable to hear verbal instructions, approaching vehicles or course marshals on foot or on bicycles, you may be asked to relinquish the device.
